Must do:

Sample island cookery and hospitality with a visit to a harbourside restaurant where Creole cuisine blends with classic West Indian flavours to produce tantalising regional dishes.

Spice of life

Tropical waters, pristine reefs, colourful coral gardens and sunken shipwrecks define the “spice island” of the Caribbean. There is no better place to start your Grenadine yacht charter than from the base at Port Louis Marina, nestled in a natural lagoon opposite the island's charming capital, St George's. From here, explore the island itself and the spectacular Grenadines, just a short distance to the north. It’s easy to whet your appetite for island life in St George's where there are plenty of bars, restaurants, shops and a bustling market.

A sixth of Grenada's landmass comprises protected national parks and wildlife sanctuaries. There are more than 40 beaches - white and black sand - spread across the coastline to discover and waterfalls hiding in rainforest which cascade to clear, cool swimming ponds. Grenada is a snorkelling and diving paradise with umpteen reefs to discover. With blue-water sailing and sheltered island cruising, Grenada offers superb conditions for more experienced sailors - challenging and exciting in winter, laid-back in summer.
